Chris Tubb, Director of Catering Chris Tubb graduated from Big Spring High School in 1991 and soon after attended Southwest Texas State University on a full tennis scholarship. Chris began his career in the hospitality business with Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Downtown Austin. During his 8 year tenure there Chris worked as a Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, Director of Catering and Director of Sales and Marketing. He left Hilton Hotel Corp. to begin a 9 year career with Marriott Hotel Corp. working as a Director of Marketing for the Marriott Austin Airport and Marriott Houston Hobby Airport. Chris moved back to west Texas and is currently a Food and Beverage Manager here at Midland Country Club. Chris has a wonderful wife Kristi and two great children; Evan, 14 years old and Brenna, 10 years old.
